At the time of appointment confirmation, a non-refundable deposit of $50.00 is due and will be deducted from your invoice. This will reserve your appointment’s date and time.
We require at least a 24 hour notice to confirm your appointment request. Failure to provide a 24 hour notice will result in your deposit to be converted to a cancellation fee. A new non-refundable deposit of $50 will be required at the time of booking.
We require appointments to be rescheduled within 24 hours of their scheduled appointment date and time.

Right to Refuse Service
We reserve the right to deny and/pr terminate service due to the safety concerns, inappropriate or uncomfortable situations, weapons, severe clutter, and disconnected utilities.
Our cleaning technicians reserve the choice to leave if the home, office, or rental property is in an extremely unsanitary condition, or if they feel unsafe or/and threatened. If your property is deemed unreasonable, you will be charged our non-refundable $50.00 cancellation fee.
Cleaning Team
Per project, we assign at least two (2) cleaning technicians and additional cleaning technicians if the project is larger (e.g. 3+ bedrooms houses, commercial places, etc.). In doing so, this ensure that our cleaning technicians are providing an excellent cleaning service each and every time. We cross-train our cleaning technicians on a regular basis.
Cleaning Day Preparation
We are proud to offer competitive pricing in today’s cleaning market. To ensure that we continue to offer competitive pricing, we ask our clients to prepare their home for our cleaning technicians. This is as simple as tidying up your home, providing access to areas and surfaces that you wish for our cleaning technicians to clean, and floors. If our cleaning technicians have to move furniture, excess items, and additional non-cleaning tasks; your invoice will reflect this, accordingly.
Alarm Security System
For properties equipped with an an alarm security system, we require that the client set it to ‘Off’ or provide us with the code and instructions to disarm the alarm security system.
We require the client to notify us if the code changes. Failure to do so may result in a non-refundable $50.00 lockout charge.
Arrival Window
We provide arrival windows for appointments. In doing so, this allows us to offer competitive prices and travel fees. If you require a specific time, we will attempt to accommodate your request. No guarantees.
If our cleaning technicians will arrival late, you will receive a phone call or/and text message with updated arrival time.
If weather conditions prevent our cleaning technicians from safely traveling to your property, we will be closed. This applied for Cypress area and neighboring cities.
Cleaning Supplies & Tools
Our cleaning technicians provide pet-friendly cleaning solutions and products to thoroughly clean your property. We offer eco-friendly cleaning solutions for an additional fee.
We do not use our clients cleaning supplies and tools to prvent damages and liability issues.
Unreachable Areas & Heavy Items
For the safety of our cleaning technicians, they will not climb higher than a step stool or work outside of your property. They will not move objects more than 35 pounds.
Clients are required to move heavy objects if they wish for our cleaning technicians to clean around them.
Cleaning Exceptions
The following items and property types will not be cleaned:
- Mold Removal
- Hoarding Homes
- Animal and Human Body Fluids
- Blood, Feces, Vomit, Urine, or Excretions
- Cat Litter Boxes
- Bird Cages
Pet Fee & Policy
A $15.00 Pet Fee is applied per project. This fee will provide additional time and attention to detail during your appointment.
Our cleaning technicians use pet-friendly cleaning products and supplies. We require that our clients limit the indoor activity of their pets to ensure cleaning efficiency and safety reasons. If there are safety concerns during the appointment, Contessa Cleaning reserves the right to remove its cleaning technicians from the property.
The following reasons will prevent our cleaning technicians to not enter the property:
- The pet(s) is a threat
- The pet(s) may behave differently if a family member is not present
- The pet(s) become aggressive
This will result in a non-refundable $50.00 cancellation fee.
Service Fee
A $9.00 Service Fee is applied per project. This fee will provide insurance for your property and our cleaning technicians during your appointment.
Lockout Policy
The client is required to provide our cleaning technicians access to the property on the appointment date. Failure to provide access (within 25 minutes of our cleaning technicians arrival) will result in a non-refundable $50.00 cancellation fee.
Rescheduling & Cancellation Policy
Clients are required to provide a 24 hour notice of cancellation or rescheduling. Failure to provide notice will result in a non-refundable $50.00 cancellation fee.
Recurring Services Policy
We applied recurring discounts after the first cleaning appointment. Once you have setup a cleaning plan with Contessa Cleaning, you will continue to receive recurring discounts. If an appointment is missed, the next appointment invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

- 20% off — Monthly
We offer a 5% off First-time Client discount for new clients.
Damage & Loss Policy
Contessa Cleaning is insured and provides insurance for both our cleaning technicians and client’s property items. This policy states:
- Cleaning technicians are not liable for damages caused by normal wear and tear
- Cleaning technicians are not liable for damages caused by improper installation of an item in your home, artwork, collectibles, or family heirlooms not disclosed during the booking process
- Cleaning technicians are not liable for the following items, but not limited to:
- Artwork
- Collectibles
- Family Heirlooms
We require that clients notify us within 24 hours after your appointment date of breakage and/or loss of any personal items. Identical replacement of items will be attempted but not guaranteed.
Payment Policy
Invoices are required to be paid in full on the day of service. We accept credit/debit card payments only. Failure to submit payment within 24 hours will result in a non-refundable $50.00 late payment fee.
Refund Policy
All payments are final. No refunds will be processed for any products or services. If you have any issues, please contact us via email or phone call within 24 hours to rectify any issues.
Governing Law
Any claim relating to Contessa Cleaning Company website shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
We have made every effort to design our website to be useful, informative, helpful and honest, hopefully, we have accomplished that and would ask that you let us know if you would like to see improvements or changes that would make it even easier for you to find the information you need.
